Redhouse is a nonprofit cultural center, located in the trendy Armory Square district of Syracuse, NY. Our mission is to transform lives through intimate and distinct experiences in the arts. Redhouse presents and produces new works in theater, film, visual art and music.

Redhouse began when a small group of local artists decided to search for a home. In August of 2001, they found it. Though old and neglected, the three-story brick building had character and potential. It needed major renovations, and in September of 2002 a capital campaign was launched to raise the $1.4 million required to transform a former boarding house into a home for the arts. By October of 2003, renovations were under way. In July, 2004, Redhouse opened its doors to the public. Since then, Redhouse has hosted numerous theatre productions, concerts, gallery exhibitions, and film presentations.
