"We are trying to live out, as best we can, the religion of the heart. You do that with things that aren't very rational, like music, art, prayer, and liturgy - by giving people an opportunity to learn what really matters, which is living in a relationship with God."

- Fr. John Fergueson, Church of the Redeemer

We believe that the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ broke the power of Sin, Evil ,and Death. His dying and rising reconciled and reunited humanity with God, opening the way to eternal life with God.

Over and over, we experience God's forgiveness, healing, reconciliation, and transformation of our lives. We are deeply committed to living in the power of this Paschal Mystery We are also deeply committed to diversity and inclusiveness: All are welcome to share God's table and our parish life.

Our life as a parish revolves around liturgy (worship), spiritual growth, substantive education, outreach and community, and the Church Year with its seasons, festivals, and holy days.

We also have a good time with one another. We love to laugh, kid each other, share a meal and express our opinions and our feelings. We don't always agree, and we often have doubts. We like to think and talk about the real things of life. We're ordinary people, trying to live out a real relationship with God.
