I am learning the art of judging light. Intelligence, creativity, photography and laughter are my greatest passions in life.

I believe that you can create your own world. Life is just a big dream which you can give your own directions. You only have to believe in it .

Photography is like poetry. You begin to learn poetry by studying the work of the greatest poets, understanding their emotions and the events they witnessed which motivated them to write. In the same way, it’s important to study the work of other photographers and understand the scenario when they made the pictures.

I love photography for the pure reason that it gives me the ability to visualize and keep “seeing” continuously. It’s the power of visualization which we humans have and computers don’t. Make the best use of it.

The earliest forms of art could possibly be the cave drawings by our ancestors. How did they visualize? They certainly did witness the way their fellow men attacked wild animals, how the wild animals behaved amongst each other. The thought of the events continued to linger in their minds and probably, one person took the challenge of documenting it with what ever tools he had. And thus, art took birth. The same thought drove him to make pots, tools and idols of interesting designs. Now, did he have a workbook which taught him to etch out these things on wood? What he possessed was a strong motivation to think, visualize and create art.

We need to learn that photography is not about the camera. It’s all about the eye. I recently read an interesting quote -” Photography is a clever synthesis of creativity and skill”. What’s the use if you are a master of the camera’s working but you lack that third eye to see beyond and shoot interesting pictures? The less time and effort you spend worrying about your equipment the more time and effort you can spend creating great images.

"Raghu is one of those photographers who cannot be ignored. Even though it's a bit of a cliche now, it is true. Raghu's style and his images cannot be classified - at once they are documentary and stylistic. Fine-art meets everyday in his photos.
Plus, he is a great motivator, has great tips to share and is a great guy to have on your photostream.

    Plus, he's a good friend."

    "Ashooo,

One of my favourite photographers on this planet. One I definitely boast about, and reveal as one that gives me inspiration to many people around me.

This guy knows composition, and knows emotion, and knows how to capture so many different things, that it is difficult to understand his style. Although, i find his style to "just be perfect."

Wow wow wow. Everytime I am impressed, and I am proud of him!

Keep on truckin', and keep on being a nerd!

    Cheers"
