Shy but (very) passionate...

I have been dressing as a girl for literally my whole life.

My mother and sister wanted and expected another girl in the family, and prepared accordingly. So I spent my first two to three years in dresses, something of which I have no memory, but which I am sure left its impression. My sister continued to dress me as a little girl from time to time (to my delight and her enjoyment) until this activity was forcibly curtailed by parental authority. But the seeds had definitely been sown, and a few years later I began ‘borrowing’ items of clothing from my mother’s and sister’s wardrobes. I was caught several times, but that only served to make me more cunning and careful, so I wouldn’t get caught again... the wonderful feeling of wearing female garments was too intoxicating and too exciting to live without.

I am now a mature t-girl who loves sharing her rather extensive wardrobe through Flickr. I love to get out and about and meet other t-girls face to face, but in my present circumstances this isn’t possible very often.

I have a fulfilling professional life in the art and media world, and my other interests include old movies (forties and fifties Hollywood, especially), the visual arts, fashion, cookery and (honestly!) flower arranging.

I am very happy that I have discovered this way of sharing Rebecca with my new friends here at Flickr. I think you are all wonderful people, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel so welcome and at home.
