Have you ever seen a greyhound discover soft sand?
In June every year, at West Wittering in Sussex, there will be a mass greyhound walk.
West Wittering beach is miles of pure sand, with plenty of parking. The East Head area at low tide is our destination. Lots of space for the greys to discover open soft sand and miles of freedom.
ReachTheBeach is organised from Hersham Hounds. All greyhounds are invited: homeless, rescue, homed, etc. etc. Every greyhound can join ReachTheBeach (and any other sighthounds... whippets, lurchers, etc.).
If you're planning to come along, we'll need your contact details (see the Invite page on our website). Then we can assign homeless hounds to volunteer walkers, keep track of expected numbers, send you the monthly Newsletters - and we can put your hound's name down for a goodie bag.
