I am an agent for a Civil Engineering contractor who enjoys Mountain sports when I'm not at work.

Most of my photos are taken from my trips around the mountains of Scotland - mostly in attempt to compleat the Munros. I managed it in May 2006 but continue to walk and climb the mountains around the Northern half of Scotland.

There are a few taken on trips further afield - French, Swiss and Austrian Alps. I harbour ambitions to return to the Alps and to climb further afield - Himalaya one day perhaps?

Until a recent trip up the Pony track on Ben Nevis I was using a Panasonic Lumix FX 30. The LCD screen gave up while on the summit. I have now replaced it with another small digital compact - a Lumix TZ6.

Stitched photos were created with ArcSoft Panorama Maker 3.5.0.105 until March 2010. At that point Panorama Maker stopped cooperating with Vista - must have been a Windows update that caused the problem. Since then I've been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0
