I've always liked taking photos. Nowadays my main subjects are family, places where I live (Brasília and Washington), and travel.
My son Felipe also uploads photos to this site. All the college pictures and most of the Brasília landscape ones were taken by him, mostly with our Nikon D80. I have used primarily compact cameras: the Nikon Coolpix 4100, and three Canons - the SD500, the SD700IS and currently an SD890IS. My all time favorite camera was the Canon SD700IS, endlessly flexible and portable - took about 20,000 pictures with it.
