I'm a complete photography novice, armed with a brand, spanking new Canon EOS 500D, and my trusty point n shoot Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7!
Fed up of being unable to take the photo's I wanted to, but inspired by the quality of the images that the TZ7 produces, I decided I'd take my first steps into the D-SLR world, hence the Canon.
This profile is for my reference, and hopefully feedback, advice and constructive criticism from my friends, who are far more knowledgeable in the wonderful world of photography!
In October 2009 I attended a photography course with Evolution Arts, in Brighton, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and gave me a good foundation upon which to build.
Update Jan 2010:
I am now the proud owner of a Canon EOS 500n 35mm SLR, which is pretty cool - having just had my first batch of film developed though, I had a harsh lesson in just how inexperienced I really am, and just how much I've yet to learn.
