My name is Patrick Boehner,

I am a student at San Francisco State University studying studio art with an emphasis in conceptual information art.

My work is interested in the altered relationships that are formed when seemingly disposable materials are placed in a context usually reserved for object worth preserving and studying. These pseudo-scientific presentations further the concept of artwork vs. artifact, the precious vs. the disposable.

One of my main passions is the use of digital imaging in the production of artwork. This passion has been reinforced and expanded as I have had the opportunity to share and educate others through tutoring digital image processing.
