"One of my favourites places to visit in Flickr, definitely! In Michael's photostream have come together several facts that add value to each and every shot he has posted: a) he has crossed Europe with his amazing capability of freezing great moments with his camera b) being an American has been able to see our old Europe from a different and fresher point of view and c) his base camp was Berlin, one of my favourite cities in Europe... Now he's coming back to his roots in the States and I'll be waiting for his photographic interpretation of his new reality. He has made me feel like visiting again already known cities in Europe and I'm willing to discover what it's worth being visited in the US. Thanks, Michael!"

"Michael's photostream is one that I do tend to visit more often. I am always rewarded with well-composed, well-thought, well-PP'd photos that I can learn from. I have learned that he is serious about any critique of his work - he is open to hearing what you have to say. And in turn, I have learned from his suggestions that he has made on my own photos - he has a way of helping you to view a subject another way and to improve in your own skills..

And I need to say - I can live my desire to sojourn through Michael's photos! :)"

"I've got to admit that Michael is an amazing friend, he is one of the rare people in Flickr, who always says what he truly thinks when he comments on anyone's work, I'm forever indebted to him for all the feedback on my work in which he is ALWAYS right! His work is amazing! almost always perfect, I love how he flawlessly compose his images. His photos are so diverse, that I bet anyone can guess what he will post next! his panorama set is something everyone must view! I could fav each picture of that set & I still enjoy that set no matter how many times I view it, wish you all the best Michael :)"

"I could say that when I'm a grown up photographer I want to take pictures like Michael. This sounds a bit silly -- but it isn't meant to be.
Michael "produces" some of the best composed landscape pictures on flickr -- almost each a world of its own -- with an amazing technical mastership.
What I miss most sometimes is a bigger screen to have a better look at his beautiful pictures.
Last but not least he's one of those photographers on flickr whose comments are constructive and helpful -- even if one of my pictures is seriously wrong (and this happens often enough).
    Can't say thanks enough!"

"One could easily write a novella extolling the quality of the work that you share with us on flickr... Instead I think its best to keep it short and simple. Your work inspires my creativity... its consistent, creative and your attention to the smallest details always keeps me coming back for more. You are one of the few folks on flickr who will leave constructive criticism on my stream which is incredibly valuable to me. Thanks for your kind words, creative spirit and I can't wait to see what you come up with next."

    Firenzesca says:

"I don't believe in testimonials as a normal way of visiting, commenting and faving photos, and I wouldn't like to have a full page of them. So my choice for Michael has a strong motivation and depends mainly from the excellent quality of his art and from his great kindness.
I specially admire the pictures of his European Experience, and I strongly believe that few peoples catched so wonderful images of my city, Florence, as him: the first time I saw them, I believed he was born here, as me, 'cause he has photos of the city that only a people who loves her could do.
He has a well recognizable style, and I like it so much; you can say "This is a photo of Michael" without reading the name of the photographer. And this, I strongly believe, is a great virtue that few others have.
All my Best Wishes and go on visiting this Old Europe and showing us your masterpieces."
