1982: i was born. yay!

1988: Got my first Point n Shoot Camera from my Grandfather. I don't remember the brand, I just remember that it was red (and like many things in my life, that is the most important attribute. Red things are better things.)

around the mid-nineties: I started using disposable cameras on school trips.

1997: I startet using my mom's Canon T70. Without asking her first, of course. Did some amazing portraits of my friends before i left for boarding school in

1998: no idea what camera i used. i started developing my own films and prints in the school laboratory. i slept there on the floor sometings. The dark room was the only room at boarding school where i could lock myself up and enjoy the silence.

I had a few difficult years after school, didn't know what to do with me and my life, thought about becoming a professional photographer and failed from the beginning, thanks to my lack of understanding chemistry and physics.

Still in love with pictures, i discovered there was another profession that matched my skills a lot better and i became a photo retoucher and media operator.

I rediscovered my love for photography in 2009 and never really stopped since that time.

In April 2012 I bought my first own DSLR Camera, the Canon 5D Mark II - and I'm constantly looking for nice people in the Hamburg Area who like being photographed (Message me and I'll message you back if I have a good feeling about us working together!)

Taking photos is just one part of the creative process, the editing, developing and retouching is the other big part of what i'd like to call my favourite kind of art.

Life is grey, too grey sometimes.

I like colorful things, shiny and multicolored like a rainbow.

Life is complicated and confusing, too often.

I like simple things and clear structure.

Life is unfair and unkind.

I want love.

I give love.

I need love.

We all do.

That's why I like cats and cupcakes and beautiful pictures and friendly people and colorful moo cards and flowers that look like a child has painted them. And cookies, smiling eyes, taking photos, making some kind of art, make people happy and...

stuff.

:D

Dear We-force-submitters-to-comment-on-photos-Group-Admins:

As you expect me to read and respect every groups rules i submit to, i expect YOU to read every profile of your members before inviting them to submit photos to your group.

I am very happy that you like my photo. I am very happy if you invite me to submit my photo. I will klick the submit button without reading your rules.

If you invite me, YOU want my photo in your group.

Me, for myself, don't set a higher value by having photos submitted to "Premium"-Groups with forced comments. I don't really need that.

So if you invite my photo, i will submit it, but i don't care about your rules. Do YOU have the time to read every member's rules? So why should I have the time to read yours.
