My work explores the relationship between acquired synesthesia and recycling culture.

With influences as diverse as Camus and John Lennon, new combinations are created from both traditional and modern meanings.

Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of the human condition. What starts out as vision soon becomes debased into a tragedy of temptation, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the prospect of a new understanding.

As temporal forms become transformed through diligent and critical practice, the viewer is left with an impression of the edges of our condition.

    Bunny Brickworks-Kawashima says:

"'What art offers is space - a certain breathing room for the spirit.' ~ John Updike

This perfectly describes Chaos' work here on flickr, his stream lets your spirit breathe and takes your breath away at the same time. He can switch from dirty to poetry within seconds, from guns to spirituality and it never comes across as a cliché but as something deep from the heart and soul of an incredibly creative mind."

"Chaos is somewhere at a cross road between magic, poetic, charming and dramatic.
He talks to our eyes, he whispers to our imagination."

    Trindolyn Beck says:

"I just met Chaos a couple nights ago. Seemed to be a man of detail. Opening night at his reception proved I was right. Very refreshing SL photos, dark and moody, awesome use of light. It's easy to tell he thinks about what he's doing before he just snaps.

One of the best shows I've seen. Thanks, man."
