I'm a California kid, nature geek and wildlife researcher that loves to wander the woods with a camera, and "collect" the wonders I witness.
Inspired by a small property my brother owns near Yosemite in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California, I started learning and documenting the incredible flora & fauna of this great golden state. Which, wonderfully, has landed me a few surveying projects on parks and private lands. As part of these endeavors, I also use heat-sensing digital trail cameras (i.e., camera traps) to capture animal behavior and activity remotely.
