I was born and raised in Temple Terrace, FL.
I am a passionate lover of Jesus Christ.
I graduated, after twelve years, from Florida State University with a Bachelors in English and a Minor in Criminology.
As of August 2010, I will begin pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC.
I enjoy taking pictures of nouns.
I secretly dream of playing golf on the PGA tour.
I desire to be a better writer, because of this, I read a lot.
Some of my favorite authors are: D.A. Carson, J.D. Salinger, Philip Yancey, J.I. Packer, Brennan Manning, William Faulkner, and Mark Twain.
I have two awesome nephews and one amazing niece.
I love sports and proudly support Florida State athletics, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Rays, the Atlanta Braves, the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, the Carolina Panthers, Ultimate Fighting Championship, and Rugby (I just started learning this sport.)
I can never spend too much time in the woods hunting or on the water fishing.
Above all of that, I desire to know more of Jesus Christ and learn to live in the love and grace he provided with his death on the cross. I want to share that love with others so they can grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and then go out and share it with others. (Matthew 28:16-20)
Well, as history would show, I was born a boy, and am pround to say that I still am! Amen and pass the cheeswhiz! The doctor re-assured the nurse that a full head of hair doesn’t mean that the child is going to be a girl. There are, shall we say, “other” ways of determining the sex of a child.
I live in this enchanted place known as Tallahassee, FL. Right now I am typing this line. Graduating from Florida State University (Aug. 08'), I currently work for the Florida Department of Health as a Regulatory Specialist II. When I am not at work I spend my time writing, reading, blogging, and snapping pictures of nouns.
My one passion that outlast them all is living my life for my savior Jesus Christ. I want nothing more then to be apart of peoples lives and help them grow in the Lord. There is NO better place to be. God is a God of forgivness and not condemnation. The blood that was shed on the cross by Jesus was for you and I. It will never be shed again…it doesn’t have to.
