In April 2012, I am Artist-in-Residence at the M. H. de Young Memorial Museum, San Francisco, and a 2011 Individual Artists Grantee from the San Francisco Arts Commission.

I am a San Francisco-based sculptor who uses unlikely objects to create artwork that suggests the under-explored relationship among spirituality, sexuality, and gender to support and unite culturally specific communities.

I am a recipient of the prestigious Artadia Award and attended
the Djerassi Resident Artists Program and the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. I have exhibited artwork at the Center for LGBT Life at Duke University, the Luggage Store Gallery, and the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) in San Francisco, California. I has received grants from the Queer Cultural Center (QCC), the San Francisco Foundation, and the San Francisco Arts Commission Cultural Equity Program in support of his work. In 2010, I was nominated for the SECA Award, and the Eureka Award. I am curator of exhibitions at SFO Museum at San Francisco International.
