Well, I'm 28 years old from Berlin and photography has recently become a real passion of mine. It nicely combines with my other two hobbies, being taking care of big cats and making music.

I'm part of a project, called the Tigerranch and we take care of abandoned big cats. I spend almost every weekend at that place, doing all that stuff that's neccessary to make our three tigers happy and in return, they offer me great opportunities to take photographs of them.

My profession is being a system administrator, which is really fun. ;)

So back to photography. It started with my first SLR in 1999, which was a 20 years old Cosina with fixed focal length lenses, which I abandoned soon to enter the digital world with cheap Nikon and Canon compact cameras. In March 2008, I decided to take that hobby a bit more seriously and bought my first D-SLR, a Canon EOS 400D. In December, of the same year, I changed to a 40D and this year, I got myself the 5D Mark II.
