I've been wielding a camera for years now and seem to have figured out what most of those little buttons do now. I've been told my brain works a little differently than most so who knows, maybe that will come across in my pictures.

Have a wander and a look and critique away. Nobody gets better without feedback right? Unless it's microphone feedback and then only the sound guy gets better (eventually your ears heal).
