Amature photographers, as serious as they come. We have the most basic gear- the Nikon D40 and two lenses- the Nikor 18-55 and a sigma 70-300. One of us definitely sees the world through the camera. How will this look framed? How will this look painted on a canvas?

Travel photojournalism is always on the cards but I have to get myself to take people photographs. I nearly did it once- this old buddhist monk with his spinning wheel. Only I found it rude and intrusive to shoot him without permission. And if I asked him I suppose my essence of a photograph would be lost. And that essence would be? That one unguared pure moment where a character is in his/her/it's element unmindful of who is looking. And with that one picture, you want to know the story of what, where and how that thought will conclude..and where the story will go from there..Sigh, all that romanticism!
