I currently live in Austin, Texas, in the south-central part of the United States. I have finished a project in which I studied the Lower Cretaceous (108-112 million-year-old) Glen Rose Formation. I have also completed donating my fossil collection to the Texas Memorial Museum. My newest publication is titled "On the Trail of Glen Rose Formation Sauropods: Texas’s Newest Dinosaur Track Site," which was published in early 2011.

Before coming to Texas, I lived in Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica, both beach cities in Southern California, for over 30 years. I spent much of my time collecting fossils and minerals in the mountains of Southern California. I also spent a number of years studying marine life in the tidepools along the Malibu coastline and along the jetty in Marina del Rey. Before that I studied the reptiles and amphibians of the Southern California mountains and deserts. I have uploaded some of the photos from those projects onto this site.

Since I was young, I had an interest in film, television, and radio. I am posting sets of signed portraits to my site, which is an ongoing project.

I really love the whole concept of Flickr. We cannot know what thoughts are taking place in the minds of our fellow man. Yet, through photographs, we learn what incredible visions are occurring in the minds of others. We see the world through other people's eyes and minds and see things we will never get to see ourselves. It is a wonderful place where the real and the ideal meet. I only regret that I am not as talented as many of the people who post here.
