I am from Liverpool UK where I work in homelessness services. I got my first digital camera when I went off cycle touring in 2005/6. Hooked on Flickr since then and have kept a kind of Flickr Diary documenting what I have been up to ever since. I'm no great photographer but always have a camera on me and enjoy recording everyday things. Shop windows are a fave,events my city, architecture, my little girl growing up, our camping and cycling trips and whatever else comes my way.

Photography is not just about producing beautiful pictures, which is so often done with the help of photoshop, but the photos should also tell a story or say something about our lives or where we live and where we have been to.
I enjoy seeing Alison's pictures and this is almost as good as sharing her adventures or outings. I live hundreds of mile away and can see what it is like where she lives. That does not mean having pictures of the pretty places but seeing the old new and the changes.
