I shall rewrite this soon (famous last words).

Sometime in 2011...

Well, I did it. I gone and went and transitioned, after years of vacillation, prevarication, procrastination and generally dragging my feet. Why did it take so long? I don't know. My excuse is that I went into a state of deep repression when I was in my teens because even though I knew who I was and what I really wanted, that life and society wouldn't allow it so I tried to go straight. I'm sure you know the story... After about 21 years I came out of it into the light of the internet and things changed forever (back to what they once were), only that it took me a good decade or so of conflict and therapy, and chemicals, to fully extract myself from the mire. If I were that teenager in this day and age of course, I'd be transitioned before I was 21! Or would I? Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Sometimes I think I *had* to try out all the alternatives before I knew for sure that there was no other way. I feel sad and guilty for hurting a special someone along the way though :-(

Sometime in 2009...

Stop Press Again! Currently I'm dead. Well, I may as well be. After a great time in England in which I did as many photo shoots in 6 months as I typically do in 2 years in the USA, I'm now back in the land of the puritans and bored to the point of over-eating, so don't expect any pictures for quite a while until I get rid of the extra weight. That is presuming that I stop eating out of boredom which on the face of it is not likely, is it?

Sometime in 2008...

Stop Press! Currently I'm Alive! Well, obviously, you may deduce. But this fact is noteworthy because I've recently swapped "Deadmond" (aka Redmond) in the USA for London in the UK, eh? I'm here for an extended stay. So let the good times roll... Don't make me go back to America. I will you know. Limited time offer. Get Rachael Fox while supplies last (they're already past their sell-by date but don't worry about that, she's reasonably well preserved.)

Caveats and whatnot...

A quick word on Flickr access control: my pictures are all publicly available. I group people into contacts and friends: contacts are generally people whose work I admire but I don't know them personally; friends are people I either know personally or have an online relationship with and it goes without saying, whose work I admire. If you want to be included in my friends list because you are hoping to see *more* then I'm afraid you will be frustrated. I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING NAUGHTY TO SHARE. I don't take naughty photos. Chance would be a fine thing. As far as I'm concerned, pictures of bits (see below) or solo "naughtiness" isn't interesting. For me, "naughty" requires two or more people. Sadly I'm usually to be found in a corner on my own.

Profiley stuff...

Transgendered. English. Scorpio. Vegetarian although occasionally eats seafood and the odd person. Lists to port, politically, as you'd expect of a free lovin' transgendered person, however is fiscally responsible too. Except when it comes to shoe shopping! Actually, a bit of a Gemini you could say, really....

Usually found stuck in a nice but boring bit of America, in the top left hand corner, just under Canada (Oh, Canada! (should be Eh, Canada, eh? But I digress)) Someone reading this please send in the rescue helicopter and airlift me to Trans Nirvana (hang on, that might already be Courtney Love, in which case I need a more fitting and exotic destination.)

I walk a wobbly line - made more teetering by a penchant for heels - between transvestite and transsexual. Most of the time I believe I'm TS but doubt I'd ever be fully happy with myself if I did all the ops and spent all the dough. This fact might explain some of the more curved pictures that have been cropping up of late? And the fact that I have pegged myself as "female" here, after one of my recent revelatory episodes. Usually, I just prefer to use the catch-all term of transgendered, and allow myself to feel safe in its arms...

It may come as a surprise to learn, but I don't get turned on in any way by wearing gorgeous lingerie and slinky nylons. So why do it? Because what I really really want is to be the glamorous woman that I portray myself as here. I love to appear as glamorous and as feminine as I can (at least online - I'm perfectly happy in jeans and a sweater at home) and I love to dress for other people, or failing that, the camera. I'm an exhibitionist. That much should be obvious :-)

Please note: I do NOT want to see pictures of cocks. Not on t-girls. Not even on men, unless you are secure in your masculinity, gorgeous, and have a great one. Why do some people who call themselves "t-girls" insist on bespoiling an otherwise agreeable self-image by inserting their masculinity front and centre? If you're going to be a girl, be one; likewise if you're going to be a man. But please don't confuse the two (unless you're a cross-dresser with no desire to foist their bits on an otherwise unsuspecting world). And if you do, please don't ask me to find the pictures agreeable, let alone "sexy"!

If you're waiting, with bated breath, to see some evidence of masculinity on me, I can put you out of your misery now: give up because you will never see it. In the virtual world, I can be my "real" self. There is at least an even chance that the real-world persona will be modified to correspond to the virtual version.

This moan brought to you by estrofem (probably.)

You are resilient, and no doubt your resilience has already been tested.
You've had some difficult experiences in your life, but you are wise from them.

You tend to be a loner, having learned that the only person you can depend on is yourself.

    The House of F says:

"Frankly you need Wikipedia on hand when she starts with the talking cos she's smart. Real smart. I mean I've never heard of Frankenzeller's syndrome and I know you haven't either, but she has. Oh sure, she'll tell you she's too fat (she's a rake), too tall (she's a dwarf), has big feet (size 4) but you'll see past all that foolish neurotic tranny nonsense. I know you will because she's damn gorgeous. And funny. She's like, I dunno, George Costanza in a red wig. Except it's her own hair and she's not tubby. But you get the point already.
And she has a wardrobe chocked full of great clothes. It's like I'm sure she's a thief in her spare time. Like Winona Ryder or something. Except that she's never been caught, and I'm pretty sure she'd even lend you the stuff if you asked her real nicely. She's ridiculously nice like that. My mother would love her. Honestly. You will too."

"I only know Rachel online from viewing her pics and the odd email. It's clear to anyone who sees her pics that she has a unique style and really puts in a huge amount of thought and effort to achieving her look. She's also got a quick wit and I hear she is great live.... personally I think she is a huge asset to the t community and certainly adds enormously to life in general :) . But if you are here you don't need me to tell you that! Mary xxx"

"Rachael is very simply my favourite 0:-)
She's so easy to chat to. She's sarcastic but easy-going, witty but down-to-earth, refined but open. You can talk to her about anything. She politely puts up with me when I obsess about My Heritage... or when I rant 'n' rave on various subjects =^o^=
I met her in person in September 08 and I can vouch that she looks great. Very feminine. A small head! But filled with wisdom and intelligence 0:-) She has a great body, looks decades younger than she claims to be, and takes a lot (a LOT) of great pics. She's one stylish broad, has got a wardrobe to die for and is allegedly rich so I hope to marry her one day 0:-) Think about it R, I get a green card and you can exercise your nurturing skills and be a perfect 50's housewife 0:-)
In short, she gets the Sarah Morgan All-Round Best Tranny Award 2009 :-P

More than any other girl, it is Rachael who has been there for me and helped me come out of my shell. There is little she doesn't know about the TG world and is a fount of information and sensible advice. I don't know what I'd do without her. Just knowing she is there for me gives me such peace of mind. One day our dreams will come true."

She is the sharpest knife in the drawer and what’s more she even has the drawers (see pics!). Hope to keep your acquaintance whilst you remain in Blighty. XX"

"Having met Rachael Fox I can safely say she is every bit as delightful a person in the flesh as she is in her photographs. Not only one of the most stunningly beautiful transgendered persons, she is also one of the kindest and long-suffering souls one could wish to encounter. I list her as one of my best friends, and owe her a great deal of thanks for the support she has given me over recent months. Live long and prosper Rachael!"

Rach is a splendid conversationalist, throws some awesome shapes on the dance floor and cheerfully indulges my impetuosity with warmth and good cheer. You won't get much past Miss Fox and she has the most amazing shoes and lingerie in all of the colonies. xxx"
