I'm an ophthalmologist -- no longer in clinical practice, but work for Health & Human Services. After living on both coasts of the USA, Hawaii, Guam, and London – I’ve settled in the Washington, DC area.
For as long as I can recall, I've loved taking pictures. When about 11, my parents gave me their Argus C3. Most of my photos then were in B & W, but I absolutely loved trying new ideas in photography. I also was fascinated with the ‘science’ of photography; an interest that greatly contributed to my decision to choose Ophthalmology as a medical specialty.

I still love the ‘science’ of light; noticeable in my photos in that there is experimentation with various high dynamic range (HDR) images, sunlight, reflections, focal depth, etc.
