2009, June 21th...

I think it´s not the worst idea to start telling something about me exactly to the birth of a new summer and after round 10 month being a member in the flickr community.

Because it´s not easy for me forming the words in English, I´ll do this step by step and a bit time after time.

But first some thoughts: Current my conviction is wherever I live and wherever I can afford to go to take photographs there´s a comparable effect - I see details of this world in a clearness I would never appreciate without this hobby, profession or whatever it is.

Sure, I shot a lot of photos in my life before and only at times. Some good ones and a lot of bad ones. Snapshots all together because I knew nearly nothing about photography.

After a long interval I started making photos with a first bit of technical background in the first place in the second half of 2008 - just after a salesman has persuaded me instead an unavailable digicam to a cheep no name compact camera (Maginon DC 8000). It´s features up to free choice of aperture and exposure time soon tuned my knowledge. But that´s not all and someday I ´ll give this man a big thankyou because his tip presents me hundreds of interesting and some outstanding photos since that day.

Today more and more rarely on stage I´m working mainly as a drum teacher and this since decades. So there were and are no funds to acquire better equipment. - But with the help of a friend I can use a Fuji bridge camera (s8100 fd) since the beginning of 2009 and since the end of the same year sometimes Nikon´s D5000 with the tamron lens 18-200.

It´s difficult for me to say where are the special interests in photography. It seems there are less frontiers than everything depends more on the capabilities which are contemporary default.
