Hello, my handle is Quiplash--I am well known for my snappy comebacks.
(self-portrait coming soon...)
I'm a reference librarian, queergeek blogger, Flickr photographr, social networking software beta-test whore, and Sound-of-Music Maria wanna-be :-D
I joined flickr very, VERY early on: February 14th, 2004. My first account was Quiplash; this is my second flickr account, Quiplash! with a bang :-)

Yes, I'm the guy who came up with the idea for the the Flicky Awards just so you know who to blame ;-) but at the moment, I am administrator of only one flickr group, Avian Flu Watch. I'm spending most of my time lately on The Flu Clinic at CurEvents.com, watching the potential avian influenza pandemic unfold with mounting horror.
The most recent songs I've listened to on last.fm:
Here's my last.fm profile.
Here are some of the photos I've taken which are on flickr:

Cocktailia says:
"Cora-Anne Tine not only rightly ruffles feathers with her investigative forays into matters fowl, but she is also a highly developed species. She is intelligent, articulate, witty, and has a well-developed sense of social purpose (not to mention the ludicrous). Long may she reign to fight avian evils."

Plurp says:
"Julie died last night, hacking and coughing and scared. The twins died last Tuesday, both of them, looking up at him, hoping for meaning, he thought, just as Julie had. And he, impotent, without the black market contacts that his co-workers used to get Tamiflu, without hope, without recourse. He wondered what the tightness in his stomach meant."
