I love the way the world changes when I have a camera in my hands. I love to photograph things so they can be looked at more closely, or in a different way. Also, photography is a way of making time stand still.

I am a mother to four young children. The oldest three all have their own cameras as well.

I love to drive, especially on roads I have never been on before. I'm a travel junkie, but with four kids I tend to stay close to home more than I once did. But, when we go out I always take my camera and my letterboxing stuff.

I photograph a lot of churches and often plant letterboxes near them. Oddly, I am not really a religious person. But, there is something intriguing about a community coming together to build a place of worship. It affirms the need we have to connect with each other in order to connect to the Universe, or God, whichever word is used.

Generally, I love the underdogs, the forgotten, the hidden, and the unassuming, finding something special about ordinary things.
