quicksilver coaches' photostream  

A man with a passion for all forms of road transport but especially buses, fire appliances, fairground transport and classic cars. As well as photographing real ones I also build and collect models and 'operate' a model fleet of over a hundred 1/76 scale coaches. Flickr is my latest obsession and I spend too much time uploading photos and thinking of humorous captions for them so have a look through my stream and see what you can find!

Some of you may remember my now sadly defunct Fotopic site (quicksilver.fotopic.net) but luckily I had set up this Flickr account a few months before Fotopic's sudden demise. Rather than trying to recreate the Fotopic setup, I've decided to make a fresh start so some pictures from Fotopic will appear here alongside others you may not have seen before.

So why the username 'quicksilver coaches'? Simple really, it's the name of the original and largest of my model coach fleets.
