I am awed by the beautiful photographs created by the members of Flickr. Whereas many seem to use their accounts as a sort of portfolio of their gorgeous work, I am using mine more as a diary of my experiences and some of my freelance work. As such, many of my photos are not meant to be beautiful, artistic, or impressive. A subset are, but most are not. Perhaps that does not even need to be explained, but somehow I feel better saying it.
