I have been shooting in one form or another for over 35 years. I am currently shooting digital with a Nikon D90 and most if not all of my efforts are experimental. I am out to please myself and have no clients or art directors to please so I can do what I want when I want and have fun. The transition from analog to digital was a big change for me and has opened new doors and ideas in how and what I shoot. The ability to shoot so much so fast is so fun for me and brings me back to my younger days when I worked in a photo-finishing lab and could shoot abundant amounts of film and process quickly. Now I shoot almost every day and process my digital images through a workflow I have created, my digital darkroom. I shoot lots of my photographs with slow shutter speeds, not over one second but slow enough for blur or panning. All of my work is created in camera and the only post production may be crop, slight color corrections and not much else. I love my dogs and they are over worked under paid subjects, I love shooting light, color and motion. I am looking forward to more shooting and now working on using some of my countless images for multi-media work.
