Hello Visitor, welcome to my profile,

My digital adventure started with a Sony P51 Cybershot after that in 2006 a Sony DSC-T30 followed. I still like to use the T30 as it is compact, easy to use and handy and sometime I make a small movie with it. In june 2007 I started here on Flickr. A colleague told me that I was making nice photo's an told me to think about buying a DSLR.
With his advice I bought a Canon EOS 400D (aka. Rebel XTi) in november 2007. With the Canon lenses EF 28-105mm F/3.5-4.5 II USM and a bit later EF 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 iS USM.

At the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009 I followed an Basic Photography course. All the puzzle pieces I had read on the internet came finally together. And even better I understand all the new puzzle's now much better.

In august 2011 I got mine Canon 5DmkII with the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM.
A new live is starting.

Alway's I try to find an excuse to make photo's and when I got one then, every photo I like I will put on Flickr.
That's why I don't use Flickr as my portfolio site. I wish that Flickr had a section for a Portfolio.
But now 500px gave the option to have a Portfolio. So I started mine here


I will place photo's in groups that are relevant. In the beginning I was place them in Favorite and awards groups. You know: I vote for you if you vote for me .... ( pppfff what a ratrace)
Okay it gives you a lot of hits. At the moment of writing (11/2011) I have reached more then 1000.000 hits. I have now around a 1000 - 1500 hits per day. At the moment I have now about 19.000 photo's on Flickr. 12.000 of them are open to the public.
The most hits are comming from the Fantasy and Gothic fairs I started to attent since april 2010.
I find a lot of joy there on those events.
What also generate hits are the effort I put in to get the correct Tag's what attracts search engines.
