So I take pictures. Most of them have a Creative Commons licence. This means you can freely use my photos, subject to the terms of the licence. You don't have to ask permission to use my photos, but if you don't know about the Creative Commons licences, you must refer to the terms of the licence to make sure you use it properly.

Most photos I have on here (check to be sure on the individual photo page) are licenced under an attribution–share-alike–non-commercial licence. This means:
• You can use the photo freely for any purpose except for commercial purposes
• You must provide proper attribution when you use the photo. I would like you to use my full name, Christopher Lewis Cotrell, and include a link back to the flickr photo page.
• You may make derivative works, that is, you may modify the photo or use it in whole or in part to create a new work, subject to the condition that if you do so, the work you create must be under this same licence. That is, any derivative work you create using my work must not be copyright and must have the share-alike clause in it as well.

I also request that any time you use my photos, you let me know. I'd really like to see where and how my photos are used.
