Live in Kuwait. Started taking photographs years ago, but never thought of it professionally till now... Hope you enjoy the pics, I'm not a professional, you could say more of a beginner.

* Just started reading up on composition, basics of photography, DOF, POV, camera settings, and theories and principles of art. I’m currently reading (Criticizing photography by Terry Barrett, wow you just don’t know what you’re missing out on when you don’t read!!)

soon i will start my own series and start to give a different meaning to my work. Hopefully read up more on great artists like Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Paul Strand, and Richard Avedon.

My View of the world as a Photographer:
I see the world as two worlds, as I have lived a double life, I was born to An Arab Father and Western Mother. I never really fit in the Arab world as i felt like a foreigner and was treated as one because of my looks, and I never fit into the western society because of my religious values and beliefs... I see the world in black and white; I don’t see shades of grey. Its either RIGHT or WRONG, you either LOVE ME or you DONT.
My photos are a mirror to my soul, I either feel dark and empty; very dark jet black night shots, dark silhouettes, high contrast. Or I feel very lively; simple vibrant colors, 1 subject in a picture, beautiful color skies or a flower.

You will see the color orange a lot... Especially dark orange skies backgrounds themes, that’s because orange is such an interesting color to me. It’s the color of sun, warmth, summer, autumn leaves and the color of change.

you will also notice lots of jet black skies, photos. This is due to the fact I think Black is the most fascinating and ambiguous color, it is vague, it is space, it is eternal. I love black and negative spaces in my work.


any helpful criticism is welcome, as we all learn from art !

I haven’t saved up enough for a more pro camera ( SLR ) sooo I’m currently using a Sony 8.1 mp digital camera, 15X opt zoom, DSC H9.
