I am a husband, father, family man, and friend. My love for photography started with those 110mm cameras that McDonnald's gave out when I was a kid. From that summer on I was hooked! My Grandpa, Father, and a handful of my Father's friends where my first photo buddies who helped and inspired me to learn photography. They would invite me out on field trips to shoot landscapes and nature scenes with them. Then one fine day, on my 15 birthday, my father gave me my first film SLR. It was a ZENIT made in the U.S.S.R. and fully manual. No auto advance. No auto focus. No DX code reader. It was simple, basic and fun to use! I took the money I earned from my paper route - plus working part time for my father after school - to pay for each carefully shot roll of film and the developing. My growing passion for photography blossomed under some tremendous inspiration by a professional photographer friend in my home town. He took me under his wing and let me go shooting with him. At age 24 I moved across the country (Canada) to live in Alberta and tie-the-knot with my beautiful bride. My focus then became my new bride and our beautiful children which soon followed the honeymoon. Under the demands of a family I settled for a simple pocket point and shoot digital camera. I tried to capture as many memories as possible of parenthood, family life, and our crazy adventures together. It was three spent point and shoot cameras later, along with loads of encouragement from my lovely wife, which finally lead me to take my passion for photography to the next level. In October of 2009 I enrolled in a professional photography school in New York. Then I purchased my first Digital SLR, three lenses and a sturdy tripod for my studies. I love the friends I have made so far on this amazing journey to re-discover my passion for photography. I also look forward to making many more new friendships along the way.

Thank you for visiting my flickr page. I appreciate all of the comments and suggestions that each person takes the time and effort to write on my pictures. They are most helpful and encouraging to me. I learn so much from the feedback I receive. I enjoy leaving feedback and comments on my contact's photos as well. There are so many talented and gifted photographers on flickr that I easily get lost in one photo-stream after another seeing the world though fresh pairs of passionate eyes!

My hope for each of you reading this is that you will keep on releasing your passion into each photograph that you take. Only you can see the world around you through your unique eyes. Your perspective matters. It has value, courage, humour, strength and purpose...and it will make an impact on the world around you as you share your point of view with others.
