I was bitten by the photography bug at a young age, and have indulged my passion on and off for about 30 years. Not sure why I never pursued it as a career, though I did study TV communications and Film in college. If I ever left my chef career I think I would find a way to get into photography one way or another. Currently I own a Minolta Maxxum film camera and a Canon Powershot A95. Would like to upgrade to a DSLR at some point in the near future, but am having a hard time convincing the wife of the need!
I discovered Flickr in the early Fall of 2007 and have been hooked ever since. Belonging to many of the groups that I do has really helped me advance my photography skills and has opened my eyes to other art forms, especially fractal work, which, as you can see, takes up a considerable amount of my photostream.
