As someone who only really took up photography a few years ago I feel I am starting to make real progress - I know know how little I know!
I've experimenting with people, landscapes, still life, animals - all forms and all subjects. Possibly I'll specialise but at this stage I want to try it all.
I'm spending increasing amounts of time trying to learn the dark arts of Strobist - the creative use of off-camera flash and building my rapport with models.
I use a Nikon d3 and Nikon D300, various lenses and accessories but am trying to spend my time learning technique and not just buying stuff.
