I'm a Quilter and a Purse Maker and I love to sew! I created this page as a place to document my creations, and it's fun to go back and review the things I've made in the past.

I've been sewing since I was a little girl, and turned to quilting in the early 1980's. Since then, that hobby has flourished and I now make quilts for friends & family and I also design patterns for my local quilt shop.

My purse designs are a combination of my own designs and purchased patterns. My favorite pattern designers are Nicole Mallalieu, Rae Hoekstra and KeykaLou Patterns. I often embellish my purses with Vintage Buttons, or add a touch of sparkle to a special occasion bag with Hand-sewn Beading and Exotic Silks and Satins.
I make all of my purses myself, in my smoke-free, pet-free home in Wellsboro Pennsylvania. I use only high quality materials, consisting of Quilt Shop Quality Cottons, Home-Dec fabrics, and various stabilizers to give the bags just the right amount of structure.
I have 2 new grandchildren, both born in 2011, so of course - I make LOTS of baby things too. Besides sewing things for them like quilts, hats & shoes, I've also rediscovered knitting & crocheting - something I haven't done for decades. Baby projects are so much fun to make!
