Hello and thanks for visiting my Flickr page. I hope you enjoy my photos. About myself, well I am someone with lots of time on their hands so I hope to add to my photo collection.

I place my entire photographic and video library where I am the owner of the pre public domain copyright, located at www.flickr.com/photos/purple_mecha/ in the public domain. This is in accordance with my principles and wishes. All future additions to the Flickr archive, whether video or photo that are originally copyrighted by me, are also in the public domain by default.

Flickr does not offer a public domain option so please ignore the rights reserved marking.

However there are a few photos that are not in the public domain because they were taken by someone else. As such those photos are copyrighted by their respective author. The copyrighted photos are identified by the description and they also have a comment as well. If there is no comment or description about the copyright then that means the photo is public domain.

I am a strong supporter of the public domain. Which these days, seems to languish in obscurity.
