Photography is a hobby for me, a way to enjoy things and places in a different, deeper way than merely walking past or through it. I do the occasional commercial job, a wedding or two, but if the stress outweighs the fun then I don't want it and I'm against the commercialisation of art at the point it stops being about self-expression and starts being about how to maximise the revenue by conforming to current fashion and appetite.

I shoot with a Canon 400D DSLR and mainly use my Canon 50mm f/1.4 and Canon 24-85mm lenses (the later often with a polariser outdoors). I also use my partner's 70-200mm and 100mm macro lens. I sometimes use flash, 430EX-II, off-camera using a Cactus V4 trigger. Manfrotto #390, Lensbaby lenses (which I don't use as often as I'd like or should). Main subjects are landscapes and nature, sometimes people and urban.
