Grew up in small town Kansas, moved to bigger town Kansas. Spend far too much time in front of a computer, and not enough time behind a camera.

I've shot with a range of cameras, starting with point and shoots (which I still have a Lumix TZ5, which takes amazing photos when I can't bring in my DSLRs), moved onto a D40x, but since worked with a D60 and now a D5000. I'm a Nikon girl, what can I say?

My favorite subjects are musicians, especially in darkly lit bars. I love the challenge of trying to get THE shot, and not have it be super dark, super grainy, or super blurry. I also love the happy accidents that sometimes occur. Nature photos are a close second.

Otherwise, I like taking photos (that was a given), live music (another given), ice hockey, and pretty much anything computer related (fixing them, creating content with them, playing games on them...)
