Well let me see.
I am retired from an orchid nursery where I did a bit of everything and enjoyed it very much. When my husband retired early I did too. I have been a docent at the SB botanic garden for a short time and done some work with another orchid nursery just getting started.
I have also in my younger days worked at a grammer school as the LUNCH LADY.....with play ground duty. LOVED that job.

I have always wanted to paint, but have no talent in that area. I guess that is why I love taking photo's and playing with them and changing them all around when I can....gives me a sense of the creativity that I lack.

I have a cockatoo, a pionus parrot, two koi, and two baby tortoises. I will try to restrain from putting their pictures on this site .

I have such admiration for all of my friends here on Flickr. The beauty and emotional views of our world that they show encourages me and gives me the sense that our world is an ok place . I thank you all for making each day just a little bit better.
Linda

    @quamirena says:

    "I had the good fortune of meeting Linda thru another website and I’ve come to know her as a compassionate woman who feels a special affinity with the green world. Linda is, indeed, a master horticulturist... and she's been very generous with me in sharing her knowledge of plants and flowers of all kinds. Her photography is a reflection of her love and appreciation of all God’s creatures, great and small. Thank you, mum for your generosity of spirit and for visually sharing your beautiful world with us."

    "pumkinsmum is a master horticulturalist, and one of my dearest friends. Since I was a wee lad she has fostered the growth of the best in me and today this friendship is one of the greatest joys of my life.

    I'm delighted that you have joined the flickr community and that we get to communicate in such a fun visual way!"
