Pugnation's photostream

I am very new to photography; all the picture sets currently posted were done with a point and shoot Canon A95. I have been using it for about 2 years. I recently (Mid-September 2007) upgraded to the new Canon 40D. I am still trying to teach myself about all the many features available on my newest toy. It’s more complicated then I initially thought, although this actually makes the process a little more fun, so far.

Currently my interest is in nature and scenic photography; this comes from my love of the outdoors, camping, kayaking, backpacking, and hiking, basically anything outside. I am also starting to take an interest in sports photography as my nephews are playing sports at school and I think this will allow me to spend more time with them.

Please Note : I post all my pictures not just my best or favorite. This allows my family and friends to see the things and places I experience when traveling, so unfortunetly, you may have to sift through alot to get to my best. Athough I do hope to create a set specifically for my favorites and another set of for the picture other Flickr members mark as there favorites, when time permits


Any suggestions regarding my photos are welcome and appreciated; I’ve always viewed this as constructive criticism, and a great way to learn. One last thing, I do not check my account everyday if I do not respond quickly to your comments, please be patient I will try to respond as soon as I read them.
