  By that definition, most people are, at one time or another, photographers; but this woman is so much more.
  
  She is refreshingly unorthodox, insightful, imaginatively creative, spontaneous, she sees beauty where most see nothing, and her images, of even the most mundane things, appear to be fine works of art, captured by her lens, frozen in time for us to enjoy.
  
  I have the honour of calling this person my friend, have been in front of her lens, and am totally amazed at the results of her natural, artistic ability.
  
  I think any photographer can make the beautiful look beautiful, but it takes a special gift to make the average, normal, every-day look so, and when I see her work, even images of me, she's done just that.
