Hello everyone! I´m Professor Manso from a band called The Pinker Tones.
My love for music has always grown alongside my passion for photography... two mediums that are different but complementary, and endlessly feed off each other. Music is a way of expressing the beauty of emotions, wishes, memories and thoughts. Every song must have a characteristic sound, a particular rhythm and a unique melody as well as a special texture, different volumes, colour and light.

I´ve always believed that the work of an artist is based on two fundamental elements: search and evolution.

The search for answers to questions that consciously or subconsciously we all ask ourselves... and those questions make up the main motifs in the history of art, in music, painting, literature, photography, etc. I think they can all be summarised in one: the fight against loneliness or the search for love and the need to love and be loved. Love under a thousand different guises: fraternal, sexual, spiritual, carnal, platonic, possessive, repressed, irrational, etc.

Evolution as a way of renewing oneself constantly, without forgetting our origins and listening constantly to our inner child. Evolution is never losing the ability to learn and to surprise oneself, and the ongoing attempt to return to our original innocence.

My journeys with The Pinker Tones as a musician, allow me to develop my photographic eye and I want to dedicate this page to that. They are the images that make up my most intimate world, they are my interpretation of life, my search for answers, my visual haikus... They are simply moments that I have captured because in one way or another I saw something of myself in them: my relationship with spirituality, with lonliness, with love, with nature and with the passing of time...
