A three-time cancer survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, who found photography as an escape after treatment.

Although I've enjoyed photography for many years, it wasn't until after my stem cell transplant in 2007 that it took on a new life. Since then, I've continued this passion focusing largely on the Harlem River region of New York City. There I photograph its bridges, waterfront, parks, historical monuments and buildings, and anything else that might catch the eye.

I've had the privilege of being inspired by so many gifted NYC-area photographers on Flickr, notably Steve Guttman NYC, New Yorkled, Trish Mayo, malarchie, kptyson, Arciteka, Pro-Zak, and jag9889. Thank you, guys.

My earliest work was captured using the Canon PowerShot A700, but then I upgraded to the Nikon D80.

While using the D80, my primary lenses were:

18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IF DX
10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED

Now I use the Nikon D700 only and my lenses are:

Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G
Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II
NIkkor 105mm f/2.8 VR
Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8
Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2 ZF.2
Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro
