Nikkormat prashanth's photostream

I am an open minded guy or rather want to be like that and make lots of friends.I like biking and have a 1995 Yezdi ROADKING. I am also interested in photography. I believe most bikers will have a camera. I started photography around December 2008. My camera is a 1967 Nikkormat FTN with 50mm normal f2 lens and SIGMA 100-300mm AF-MF zoom f4.5. I just love it, even if it frustrates me to use manual, it has taught me photography like no other cam. I sincerely suggest anybody starting photography, to start out with manual cameras.

It is film based and old, all manual, with an inbuilt light meter, but takes unbeatable great pictures. I later adjust colour,levels and contrast in photoshop. I take a long time to compose my pictures cause i am a bit confused mind and cant take decisions fast!

Usually i like to shoot with a cinematic view, cause i like to tell stories with my pics. And thats why i like FILM more than digital. Film puts out emotion easily. I can go on and on about being anti-digital, but i also like it in few respects.
