I am a true amateur who has been doing photography for 15 years and am still amazed when a picture turns out how I imagined it. My first camera was an old Pentax K1000 which I used frequently until I purchased my first DSLR 2 years ago. Before going digital I really only shot black and white and did the majority of developing and printing myself with my Bessler enlarger. However in the years before I went digital I found I was shooting less and less due to a lack of time available to spend in the darkroom. Now that I have gone digital I am back to taking 1000’s of pictures each year and have finally begun to develop a style of my own. I like to think of or describe my style as fusions of street photography and photojournalism. I am a nature lover by heart but find it more interesting to try and find the beauty in urban decay. I still do some film shooting with an older Yashica TLR and of course my old K1000, however these shot are typically done for friends or really special events. The camera I use for the majority of my shots is a Pentax K200D with a variety of different lens. Thank you for taking a look.
