Welcome to my world.

My name is Nurul. I was born twenty eight years ago in Medan, the city which I still call as my hometown. Most of my life was spent there and felt like I never go to the other place. In 2004, tsunami and big earthquake occurred to my country, caused many damages in Aceh – Nias. I got an opportunity to join one organization of United Nations for giving my contribution as an architect. After 25 years old lived in a comfort zone, I thought this is the time. For starting the new life with more challenges and adventures. Living in Nias was not easy. It was the first time for me to share everything with others. But there, in the isolated place, I met incredible friends and once again, for the first time in my life, I considered people who were not having the blood connection with me as my family. I climbed the hills, sailed across the sea, laughed and fought with friends and many more. Overall that I could say, living in Nias was incredible experiences. I moved to Banda Aceh in 2007, and still working at one of UN Agency. I won’t say much about my life here. But, in this city, for the first time, I really know what the love is. Reading, swimming, writing and photography are my interests. I have many planning in my mind to be actualized. However, I’m trying to be more realistic. Just pass the road that I face in front, and let God do the rest.
