The glitterati have long enjoyed concierge service, insider knowledge dispensed by elegant, discrete experts. But the average person is muddled along, adrift in a sea of pamphlets, contradictory articles and vast web portals. Enter Liza Jane Maltz, a cosmopolitan go-to gal who knows the best deals, the bijou boutiques and intimate bistros. Like a glamorous big sister, she can recommend a city’s most chic cocktail, where to be seen drinking it…and the shoes necessary to get though the door.

A veteran of the fashion, finance and family business, her contacts are bar none. The moment the words “Let me call my girl” were uttered by a fellow Wall Streeter, she knew she had the knack for networking.

A graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Liza’s career is not all about what’s hot now. It’s her contacts that get the business done. Considered a lifestyle broker by many, she started her own concierge service after a stint on Wall Street. People flocked to Liza who was known for getting reservations at New York’s most coveted eateries less than an hour in advance. VIP concert tickets? No problem. Personal shopping in Milan? Consider it done. Her client list reflected her passion and warmth for connecting like-minded people. She calls her Aunt Susan Seligson author , her mentor who knows how to live life to the fullest; someone who knows how to draw the most from any situation.

She continued her networking lifestyle as the Director of Marketing and Promotions at Bryant Park Hotel in New York. It was no surprise that with Liza’s rolodex, the hotel became the epicenter of everything hip. Following that success, she became the Director of Advertising and Licensing for Dollhouse/BBC Apparel where she touched every facet of the fashion industry. Certainly known as a trendspotter, Liza is much more a reflection of her individual style and sensibility and loves sharing that with her peers and clients.

Her connections became a patchwork for her following roles with Todd Goldman, Paramount Licensing Group, MGM Licensing Group and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She believes that a strong foundation will bring the buzz and cause marketing should be at the base of everything she puts her hands on.

When she’s not spinning her web or spreading her wings, Liza likes to relax in Lake Como, Italy or the Côte d’Azur. Her real love however, is downtown Manhattan, where, she says “…pulses in synchrony with my steadfast beat.”
