I've always loved taking pictures. I took photography in high school and thoroughly enjoyed it. But that doesn't mean I was ever any good at it, save for the occasional shot that I'm proud of. I completely forget most of the techniques and technics of what I was taught.

I'm a Nikon gal. Early shots were with an old school coolpix point and shoot. Then I moved onto a Nikon D70. After that, I moved onto to the very awesome D300, and while I liked it, I found that it was just too much camera for my mostly every day on the fly shot in auto candids that I took of my son, so I downgraded to a D90, which is what I currently shoot with.

I like to shoot just about anything, but with two small children, it's basically as time allows.
