I am a dive guide for the Byron Bay Dive Centre. I have been taking pictures at Julians Rocks for almost ten years. I'm still working with film rather than digital, partly through choice, partly through poverty! As my interest is primarily capturing diversity of species, rather than image quality, I am likely to remain a film-using dinosaur for the foreseeable future, because (as yet) no compact digital camera can match the shutter speed of my trusty old MX10!
