I started taking photos with my Yashica FR-II back in my 9th grade year of highschool. The next year, a photography class was offered which gave me the chance to start working with digital cameras (Nikon d40/d50). I had the greatest photography teacher who allowed creative freedom, and she was just an overall cool person (props to Mrs. V)! After leaving high school a year earlier than I should have (missing out on a year of practicing more photography), I started to fall behind on taking pictures. Luckily, my brother let me use is Nikon d100 and I had tons of fun with that. I just recently bought a Pentax K-x and went on a trip to the tropics with my Biology professor, Dr. Hinrich Kaiser, and his fellow herpetologist and good friend, Dr. Mark O'Shea.
The trip gave me a chance to really improve on my photography skills, and I'm always willing to keep on learning more. I love photography, always have, and I always will.
